Business objective
The Purchasing Division is committed to broadening the
scope of services offered to the County by utilizing vendors throughout the country.
Specific goals are to provide excellent customer service to County users as well as
vendors with whom we do business. The Division continually applies principles of greater
efficiency and economy in County government.
Associations
The organization is associated with the National Institute
of Governmental Purchasing and the Wisconsin Association of Public Purchasers, which provide
purchasing and management skills training for
all public procurement professionals.
